EuroShop 2023: Understanding the 3 Levels of ROI of Implementing Item-Level RFID

Date: 26th Feb – 2nd March

Venue: The Messe, Düsseldorf, Germany

Stand: Hall 6, I44

SML is thrilled to announce that it will return to EuroShop 2023 in Dusseldorf, Germany, from 26th Feb – 2nd March.

Hailed as the largest retail technology show across Europe, EuroShop attracts more than 1,800 exhibitors and 100,000 visitors across the five-day event. As the retail sector continues to evolve and adapt to new ways of operating, EuroShop is the go-to conference for those looking for valuable insights and expert advice from a diverse range of thought leaders and influencers within the industry. This year’s event will be divided into eight clearly defined experience dimensions, from visual merchandising to event marketing and retail technology.

Exhibiting in Hall 6, booth #I44, the SML team will be on hand to provide visitors with practical knowledge and advice on the benefits of rolling out item-level RFID. Attendees will have access to a working demo of SML’s flagship Clarity® software and its Inspire™ RFID tags and a global network of encoding solutions. Users will have the opportunity to see the solution working in a real-life retail environment, demonstrating how item-level RFID can enable retailers to enhance their operations at the shop floor level.

SML’s latest research, State of Retail 2023 Part 1: Order Fulfilment and the In-Store Customer Experience, found that almost half (48%) of retailers said that out-of-stocks would be the biggest challenge for retailers in 2023. Utilizing item-level RFID technology can enable retailers to minimize out-of-stocks drastically by effectively managing inventory.

In addition to exhibiting at EuroShop 2023, Maxime Blanc, Solution Business Development, EMEA at SML RFID will deliver a keynote talk on the event’s closing day- 2nd March.

Consumers today demand flexibility. Some make purchases exclusively online, others visit brick-and-mortar stores, and many shoppers now choose a more omnichannel approach. As a result, many retailers are turning to technology to provide a high-quality omnichannel experience effectively, and item-level RFID is one solution that improves customer experiences and delivers a genuine long-term return on investment. In this session, Maxime will discuss in detail how item-level RFID can enable retailers to enhance their daily operations and deliver more streamlined customer experiences.
